The Brief
Architecture is static, but the experience of space is fluid. For this portfolio retrospective, we were asked to document a series of Brutalist residential projects. The goal was to soften the harsh concrete structures and highlight the "human" element—how light and life occupy these spaces.
The Approach
We approached the shoot as a study of light over time. Using time-lapse photography and slow-panning video, we documented how the sun tracks across the concrete surfaces throughout the day, changing the mood of the room from stark white to warm orange. We included human silhouettes in the wide shots to provide scale and context, proving that even the most rigid structures are living, breathing entities.
