The Brief
How do you visualize taste? For the launch of the 30-Year Reserve, we needed to bypass the cliché imagery of barrels and distilleries to focus purely on the sensory experience of the liquid itself. The campaign needed to evoke warmth, heritage, and the slow passage of time.
The Approach
We treated the liquid as the hero character. Using a Phantom Flex camera shooting at 1000 frames per second, we captured the viscosity and amber hues of the whiskey as it hits the ice. The lighting was kept warm and low-key, utilizing practical effects to create flares and refractions through the crystal glass. The resulting imagery is almost abstract—a study in golden textures that communicates the richness of the product without saying a word.
